The Rockhampton Heritage Village is open daily for casual visitors. Opening times are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm every day except on public holidays. The Friends of the Village are on hand to conduct guided tours each morning. Visitors are also free to browse the displays at their leisure at any time during the opening hours. Special guided tours may also be organised for groups by phoning the Heritage Village on 07 4936 1026.

However, we regret that the Association's display which had been in the Lakes Creek Cottage is presently unavailable for daily viewing. We are continuing to develop the new Country Hospital Museum in its recently opened new location in the former Mt Morgan hospital nurses' quarters building (See further information on the About Us link on this website). The next opportunity for public viewing will be during the Heritage Village Australia Day Markets on Sunday 24 January 2010. We plan to have the building open daily from April 2010.

Even when the building is fully available, Market Days, are an ideal time to visit because Association representatives are always in attendance.
