People

The Australian Country Hospital Heritage Association has a significant collection of photographs of the people who contributed to the delivery of health services in this region during the late 19th and the first half of the 20th century. Samples are presented on this website. Unfortunately, as with many such collections, few of the individuals in these photographs are identified. If you are able to provide additional information about the photographs or the individuals, we would be very pleased to hear from you. Of course many of the photographs are interesting for the secondary information they contain - the uniform of the day, a glimpse of the building in the background, the lifestyle of the participants, the equipment in use and so on.
